Burma, Thailand and Cambodia

Mekhong Countries

Day 1: Yangon City & Temples
Yangon arrival and sightseeing (by car), Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (KyaukDawGyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. Check in to hotel and Yangon sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon’s city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.


Day 2: Upper Myanmar Trip  
Yangon – Bagan  (by flight and car), Early morning transfer to airport and fly to Bagan. For sightseeing includes visit to the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. Visit to Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquer ware Industry one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 3: Popa Mountain - Yangon
(by car and flight), After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mt.Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area. Return back to Bagan and fly back to Yangon by evening flight. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.,

Day 4: Shopping and Departure
 
(by car), After breakfast at hotel, morning shopping at Treasure, Gems and Handicrafts shops. Visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to airport for departure.

Day 5: Arrival – Bangkok
On arrival at Suvanphumi Airport, you’re met and transferred to hotel. After checking in to the hotel you will be free on your own activities.

Day 6: Arrival Bangkok – Grand Palace – City & Temples

Today visit to Royal Grand Palace, dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremony. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After visit these complex we followed by visit to Wat Pho Wat a house gigantic Reclining Buddha. Visit the Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha. Dinner at Silom Village with culture show. Return to hotel and overnight at hotel in Bangkok.


Day 7: Bangkok – Floating Market – Riverkwai
Drive south of Bangkok to the garden province of Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong river delta area. First visit a unique country market along the railway tracks. See the train arrive bringing the people to the market. Afterwards visit Continue to fascinating floating market at Damnoen Saduak about 110 km from Bangkok in the Ratchaburi province. On arrival visit local Sugar Palm factory before board on a long tails boat along Damnern canals. We will continue onto Kanchanaburi Town. Here are plenty to see, some of which are the famous bridge over the River Kwai. Upon arrival we board on local train ride along death railway to the terminal. Then lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit Wangpho, feeding wild monkey, and return to the town for overnight.



Day 8: Bangkok – Shopping
Morning breakfast hotel. Shopping for the whole day and Pratunum market, MBK, Central World, ect.. Lunch and dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

Day 9: Bangkok – shopping – Departure
After breakfast, then transfer to Airport for your departure flight. 

Day10: Siem Reap (Angkor) Cambodia
Arrive at Siem Reap airport where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will then be transferred to your selected or our recommended hotel.
After relaxing for a while in your hotel, you will then take guided tour of the floating village of Chong Khneas on the Tonle Sap lake. During your tour of Chong Khneas, you will see what life is like on a floating village and how the locals spend their working days. After visiting the floating village, you will be taken back to your hotel where you will have time to relax and freshen up. Around 6:40pm, you will visit an Apsara Dance show, where you will see traditional Apsara dancers performing. The Apsara show also includes a buffet meal. Do not forget your camera for some great photos! After the show you will be taken back to your hotel for the evening.


Day 11: Round in Angkor Temples
After breakfast in your hotel you will start with a tour of the Angkor temples. First of all, you will visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat which was built in the early to mid 12th century. Suryavarman II constructed Angkor Wat into a huge temple like mountain with 5 huge towers, which can be seen from afar. It was dedicated to the Hindu God and Vishnu.

After Angkor Wat tour, you will continue on to the Angkor Thom complex, which is a Buddhist temple. It was built in the late 12th to early 13th century during Jayavarman VII reign. Angkor Thom is a 3 km square walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian empire. You will also visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper Kings, Ta Keo and Ta Prohm. After your Angkor tour, you will be taken back to the hotel.

Day 12: Siem Reap (Cambodia) Departur
On the final day, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. If you have a late departure time, then this could be a good time for you to relax around the hotel.
